We moved into our new house in early February this year. As it's a new build we were pretty lucky in that we didn't need to do much apart from buy furniture and unpack, so it was a fairly stress free process! I had a week off work on moving week so was able to get all of the furniture built and about 80% of things unpacked within the first few days. I felt like a flatpack building machine!
We've started putting up pictures and things on the walls in the last few weeks, but won't get round to painting until end of this year/early 2018 (technically with new builds you aren't supposed to paint for a year as the walls are still drying out). So it's white wall city for a good wee while!
I wanted to share a few house tour photos, with empty room 'before' shots so you can see how we've used the space. I haven't included pics of our office or second spare bedroom as they are a still a bit of a work in progress, but I'll do more house blog posts in the future as we make more changes.

Most of the furniture is from Ikea - apart from the sofa and bed which are from Next. The decor bits like cushions and candles are from various places - but mainly Maisons Du Monde, Habitat, Primark, Matalan and H&M. If you want to know where something specific is from though just leave me a comment! :)
