Recently on Youtube

This is such a lazy type of blog post so I apologise, but I think there's probably quite a lot of people who read my blog but aren't aware I have a youtube channel (similarly, some people who watch my videos probably don't know I have a blog), so I thought I'd let you know about some of the videos I've put up recently:

Slimming World Introduction
I've been doing Slimming World for 2 months now, and I enjoy watching these type of weight loss update videos from other people so I decided to start making my own.  This first one is a bit of an introduction where I explain how the Slimming World plan works, what happens at classes, and how I got on in my first 5 weeks.

Get Ready With Me: McBusted
I looooove watching get ready with me videos, I don't know why - there's just something about watching ordinary people put makeup on that fascinates me.  This is a chatty GRWM from when I went to Glasgow to see McBusted and I've included some short clips at the end from the night.

Slimming World Update #2
Following on from the introduction, this is a shorter update video covering my weigh-ins from weeks 6-8.  I'm planning on filming short videos like this every couple of weeks to keep me on track.

Vlog: Just Enjoying Maself
I recently rewatched my old Vlogmanay videos (sad, I know) and it made me really want to start vlogging again so I've started filming little random bits and pieces which I'm piecing together into a vlog when I have enough footage.  This first one includes a Filling Station event, a night out in Glasgow, and our first wedding venue viewing.

As this has been a bit of a narcissistic post I've also included links to a few videos from other vloggers that I've enjoyed recently:

PaintAfter Ever After 2 - DISNEY PARODY
Ah I'm soooo happy Paint is back!  His first After Ever After Disney parody was amazing, and so is this one.

Good god how I love Louise and Marie and their little friendship.  I just want to squish them both.

danisnotonfire Our List of Awkward Moments
Another bit of Louise-love, this time with sweet old Dan.  I found their awkward stories absolutely hilarious - I watched it at work during my lunch break and even did some real life LOLZ.

This is a really great video and such a good idea from Lily.  Basically she interviewed her friends and asked them how they've changed since they were teens.  Lots of great advice in there regardless of your age.

What have you been watching on Youtube recently?  Are there any channels you recommend (I'm starting to get a bit bored with my subscription list, it needs a refresh!).

  1. I LOVED Dan and Louise's awkward moments! I've watched it a couple of times now and it made me laugh out loud both times! Also, so much love for Louise and Marie, I am not ashamed (well, maybe a tiny smidgen ashamed) to admit I shed a wee tear when they finally met in the airport. xxx
