Oooh look at me with outdoor outfit of the day photos like a proper fashion bloggaaaaah! When we were in Bruges the other week (post coming soon) I thought I'd take advantage of the beautiful surroundings and take some OOTD pics. It was about 20 degrees while we were over there and given how pants the weather has been in Edinburgh the last month or so it felt like it was finally summer. Yaaay to spending 4 days without a jacket!
This might be the first time I've worn shorts in a good few years, but I couldn't resist these when I was in New Look the other day. Look how cute they are?! The elasticated waist meant they were super comfy too, and they aren't *that* short either so I can get away with wearing them over here too without feeling too exposed.
The top and kimono are also from New Look - the vest is really floaty so again was comfortable to wear as it didn't cling. The kimono is a t-shirt material so isn't as thin and floaty as you expect from a kimono - it's more like a baggy sleeved cardigan I guess. It's nice though, and the crochet trim makes it a bit more interesting.
Accessories wise the shoes and bag are from Primark. I absolutely love these shoes, they are ridiculously comfortable - I've barely had them off my feet since I bought them and I'm planning on going back to buy them in more colours (they were £3 too….£3!). You might notice that in the bottom photo I'm wearing different shoes - that's because I was originally going to wear a brand new pair of flats from Primark but they were already rubbing my feet before we left the hotel room so I had to change back into the blue ones.
You can't quite see the necklace in these photos but it's this adorable bird one from Rings & Tings (you can get a better look on a previous Instagram here).
I did plan on taking proper OOTDs for every day of the holiday but this was the only day I took more than 1 outfit shot so for the others I'll include them in my main Bruges write up which is coming later this week (just need to narrow down the photos, I have a ton!).
