Pin It Forward

Saturday, 8 June 2013

Pinterest is one of those sites that I could spend literally HOURS browsing - if you haven't heard of it before (hello?) it's basically like an online pin board where you can stick pictures of things you like.  You can create themed boards and upload images of things you've found online or via other users on the site.  Some of the most popular themes include weddings (I have a secret weddings board.....), interior design, food, and fashion.

I'm excited to be part of the Pin It Forward campaign which is currently running in the UK.  As part of the campaign lots of bloggers are sharing their favourite Pinterest boards, in a bid to give our readers inspiration to do some pinning of their own.  For my post I've chosen my Dream Home board.  I use this to pin  pictures of amazing looking rooms, cute homewares, inspiring DIY and generally anything home/interiors related.  As I currently rent a flat and probably won't be able to buy my own home for a few years yet this is pretty much my way of getting all my "I want to decorate!!!" energy out (it's the modern equivalent of me building an awesome house on The Sims).

I hope this post has given you some "Pinspiration" (winky face).  If you'd like to join Pinterest and start building your own inspiring boards then you can do so by clicking this registration link

Next up on the Pin It Forward chain is Laura from Tiny Twisst who will be writing about her favourite Pinterest board on her blog tomorrow - make sure you check it out!  Also, thanks very much to Nina for introducing me in her post yesterday :)
