Jelly Button Jewellery

Wednesday, 9 January 2013
I'd like to start this post off by saying that this is in no way a sponsored post, although it might sound a bit like one!  I just wanted to rave about an online jewellery shop I found at the end of last year, and was lucky enough to receive a few pieces from for my Christmas from my lovely other half.  Normally when I do wish lists and posts about things I like it's usually from big brands like ASOS or Dorothy Perkins but I want to try and involve more independent brands on the blog this year as I think it's important that we support independent businesses like this as they often don't get the recognition they deserve.

Jelly Button Jewellery is a Manchester based online shop that sells a range of fun, cute and quirky handmade pieces all created by Michelle, a student who started up the site in 2010.  I found out about the shop through the Bloggers Breast Cancer Awareness Raffle that Sarah at amilliondresses organised in October, as they were one of the prize doners.  They sell a range of cute and kitsch jewellery in adorable designs with most items taking inspiration from sweets and toys (so cute!).

For Christmas B got me the cookie jar necklace, love heart ring, and a quote necklace that also says "love you" (awwwww!) and they are all so adorable!

I've also picked out some of my other favourites from their collection including an M&Ms ring (£4.50), Gummy Bear bracelet (£4.00), and Polly Pocket(!!) necklace (£7.00).

bunting | polly pocket | tape measure | m&ms | gummy bear | scrabble

If you're a fan of cute and unique jewellery then I'd definitely recommend you take a look at their site!
