You Go Glen Coco!

Friday, 23 November 2012
I wrote something a while back about my favourite bloggers and I've decided to make the "share the love" type post a more regular feature, but instead of just being about bloggers I like I'm going to be more specific and highlight blog posts I've enjoyed reading recently. Hopefully you find them interesting too, and might even find some new blogs to follow!

Blogger Pub Quiz by The Brantastic Life
I went to my first ever bloggers meetup last month organised by the lovely Paula who has written up this post with pics from the night.  I was quite nervous about going beforehand as I hadn't met anyone before and wasn't sure what it would be like, but within about 5 minutes I felt completely at ease and I ended up having a great time (despite my team not winning, ha!) - so if you're in two minds about whether or not to go to a similar blogger event then I say just DO IT!  Our next Scottish Bloggers meetup is a Christmas party next month, organised by Gillian and Roisin and I can't wait - just need to get my outfit sorted!

Planning my wedding... by The Magpie Girl
I love reading about weddings!!!  Even though I don't have one of my own to plan yet (*does Beyonce Single Ladies hand dance*) I do find myself browsing through blogs like Rock My Wedding or searching for "weddings" on Pinterest on a (probably unhealthily) regular basis - it's really addictive!  So anyway, when two of my favourite things come together - wedding planning and lovely blogger ladies - then it's even better.

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Colour Freeze Review by Pretty Polly
A fellow Scottish Blogger and blondie, Paula has written up a great review of a purse friendly shampoo for coloured hair.  If you've read my post from earlier this week on budget buys for bleached blonde hair then you'll know that this is pretty much exactly the sort of thing I'm keeping an eye out for at the moment as a good sulphate-free non-stripping shampoo that doesn't cost £20+ is quite hard to find!  Will definitely be trying this one out next time I'm shampoo shopping.

Folky by The Little Magpie
Amy is my blogger style crush these days, and even though there's no way I could pull off half of her outfits I still find myself lusting after pretty much everything she wears.  This little outfit is absolutely adorable and I am in love with those boots (and they are only £25!).

Monday's Cat Face #5 by Temporary:Secretary
I don't think I need to say much here apart from OH MY GOD LOOK AT HER CAT ISN'T HE THE CUTEST THING YOU HAVE EVER SEEN IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE??!!  Oh and whilst we're on the subject of cats, have you seen the live kitten feed yet?!

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

P.S. If you're confused by the title then that probably means you haven't seen Mean Girls and if that's the case then I'm sorry we really can't be friends ;)

  2. Such a lovely idea to appreciate the hard work of other bloggers. The only one of these I follow is Paula (who's blog I love!) but I'm certainly going to check out the rest now!

  3. This is a lovely idea, thanks for the new reading material! haha. Also I'm really pleased I'm not the only person who loves reading about weddings and has a rather unhealthy obsession with scrolling through wedding themed pins since I haven't got my own to plan either :) xx

  6. OMG I'm addicted to awesome weddings too! I reckon we should either marry each other (hmm) or start a wedding planning company. :D
