Primark Haul August 2012

Saturday, 11 August 2012
I came home from a super busy Primark today with 2 big bags of shopping (that was a fun bus journey home!) spending just over £100 - not too shabby!

Primark Tan Ankle Boots

Primark Tan Ankle Boots
tan brogue strap boots £15.00

Primark Black Studded Heeled Ankle Boots

Primark Black Studded Heeled Ankle Boots
black studded zip boots £20.00

I heart boots - I wear them all year round, so I was sooo happy to see that Primark have their autumn/winter boot collection in store now!  There were so many pairs that I liked (including a black pair with studded heels that I'll probably go back for next month!) but I used my self restraint and just got these 2: a casual tan pair and a slightly dressier black heeled pair.

Primark Black Studded Slippers

Primark Black Studded Slippers
black studded slippers £10.00

Have been tempted to buy a pair of studded flats for ages now, and at £10 you can't really complain!

Primark White Owl Print Scarf

Primark White Owl Print Scarf
owl print scarf £4.00

I love owl print so couldn't resist this cute scarf (not that I need another scarf....).

Primark Cream Tan Elbow Patch Cardigan
elbow patch cardigan £10.00

Feel a bit daft buying long sleeved cardies when it's supposed to be summer....but this is Scotland!  Love the elbow patch detail on this one, just call me professor ;)

Primark Neon Pink Aztec Print Cardigan

Primark Neon Pink Aztec Print Cardigan
neon aztec print cardigan £14.00

Another cardigan!  Normally I'm not a fan of neon or aztec print but for some reason I love this!  I'll probably wear it with my black jeans and a plain white top.  Will also go well with this torque necklace that I picked up too.

Primark Pink ZigZag Torque Necklace
zigzag torque necklace £2.00

Primark Pointelle Skater Dress Cream

Primark Pointelle Skater Dress Cream
cream pointelle skater dress £14.00

They had these casual dresses in a few colours but I thought I'd go with the cream since it looks slightly more summery.  It looks a bit unshaply on the hanger but it looks nice on, honest!  Will wear this for work with a tan belt and my new tan boots.

Primark Navy Lace Skater Dress

Primark Navy Lace Skater Dress
navy lace skater dress £15.00

Saving the best for last....how nice is this dress?!  I love navy, and the cream underneath really makes this look that bit more special.  The fit is really lovely too, with a fitted waist and then a flared skirt - really flattering.  It came with a black bow belt but it doesn't really go at all (seriously Primark, a black belt with a navy dress?) so I've taken that off already.

I love reading other peoples' haul posts (I normally see things I want to buy and then keep an eye out for them when I'm in the shop!) - so leave me your links in the comments if you've written one recently!
