4) My cocktail came with sweeties!
5) My cute anniversary card
6) Healthy Friday night dinner - tuna steak with boiled potatoes and asparagus

My pics are a bit food/drink heavy this week aren't they?!  I swear I did more than just eat though, lol.

It was me and B's 4 year anniversary on Wednesday (we had our first date on the 8th day of the 8th month of 2008....at 8pm!) so we went to Amicus Apple on Frederick Street for dinner.  I've been there once or twice before with friends and really liked it, particularly the amazing cocktails, and I was sold when I saw they had a 2-for-1 on food offer on 5pm.co.uk.  I went for a fairly healthy option for my meal as I've been out for a lunch meeting with a client earlier in the day (at Le Monde) and I'd had a carb-central sandwich and chips.  I couldn't remember what it was exactly so I checked the menu on the website and it was "Chicken breast wrapped in parma ham stuffed with mozzarella, parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes and basil. Served on a roasted butternut squash, fine bean and toasted pine nut salad" - bit of a mouthful!  It was delicious though, and not overly filling either so I had room for a chocolate fudge cake pudding, mmmm!  Oh also I had one of the aforementioned amazing cocktails - and it came with a lollipop and some flying saucers!

Had a fairly quiet weekend, although I did go on a bit of a shopping spree yesterday - check out my Primark bargain buys!  Last night B went out for a few drinks for a friends birthday so I had a night to myself - and what did I do with this alone time......I ordered a chinese and watched several hours worth of beauty Youtube videos - party on!!  I now have a little bit of a girl crush on Zoe and Louise - their summer obsessions video is too cute!

Not got too much planned for the upcoming week, I've got the following week off work though so I'll be busy busy this week getting stuff done before I go.  On my week off I'll be looking to go to a few things at the festival and meet up with friends (if anyone is also not working!) - so if any fellow Edin-burgers are reading this and have some show tips for me leave them below!
